Rides to Wellness - Local Service can be done two ways, shared or dedicated.

If you do not require special accommodations and can get to your non-emergent doctor appointments on your own, you can use our On-Demand Service and schedule a ride on one of our buses.  The cost for this would be $1.50 one way.

If you would prefer to have a dedicated ride or if you need special accommodations, then you will need to schedule a ride.  The ride will be dedicated to you, and you are allowed a capable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to accompany you.  The Gogebic County Transit works with Michigan Transportation Connection to set up this ride.  A phone call to them allows them to work with your insurance company and use any grant money they have available to make your ride comfortable, affordable, and worry free.  Call them today at 1-844-532-7433 Ext 1.
